Almost 10 days ago now, Propositivity had its first event. The Propositivity #NotAlone summer kickoff was a complete success. With music for guests to listen to as they played lawn games, enjoyed sandwiches, and learned about mental health. With help from the Massachusetts Association for Mental Health, we were able to provide necessary information for people struggling with their issues and were able to spread awareness about our overall cause.

As we witnessed people enjoying the day and writing positive messages in chalk, we thought about how far along this organization has come in a short time. We now have our site, we have submissions from various people struggling, and we have started to get people in touch with necessary resources. We have a logo, we have merchandise, and we have donations. Things are looking great so far but we are not done yet.

This organization has a few goals in mind and one of the most important goals is that we hope to get people help at a younger age if they need it. For this reason, we are hoping to reach out to high schools and colleges so that we can discuss mental health and encourage those out there struggling to get help. It is so common that young adults and those going through life changes experience depression, anxiety, and other illnesses for the first time. We hope that we can get in touch with schools and have presentations to show everyone out there that we have felt those struggles and we now know how to get help for them.

Once again, we must thank all our supporters. Without you, this event would not have been possible. Without the volunteers that helped set up, spread our message, and clean up, we would have not had as much success as we did. We are so excited to have so many people out there sporting Propositivity wristbands and we look forward to selling shirts on Amazon very shortly! All of our supporters are so special and we look forward to seeing more people come forward with their #NotAlone submissions.

We feel truly blessed to have your support, and we hope that we can continue to change the world together. View our events page or facebook page for pictures from the event!

If you or a loved one is struggling and would like to either share your message or get in touch with resources, please reach out to us via our contact us or facebook page. The goal of our event was to show everyone that they are #NotAlone in their struggles, and now we hope to show them how to combat these issues. If you have any interest in volunteering or helping out with social media marketing, please contact Gene Grella at 508-440-9475 or email propositivityus@gmail.com

Special thanks to the Grella family, the Morelli family, MAMH, DJ Eric Foster, and all friends who showed up to show support.

Love you all,

Keep Fighting
